HGSE welcomed nearly 200 prospective students from across the country for its 30th Annual Diversity Recruitment Program. The two-day event, which was held October 25-26, is for prospective students to get to know HGSE and learn about its commitment to an inclusive, supportive and collaborative community.

Dean Terry Long welcomes the prospective students

“At HGSE, simply appreciating diversity is not enough,” says HGSE Dean Bridget Terry Long. “We aim to ensure that every member of our community can fully belong and can equitably access the extraordinary opportunities here.”

The event included many opportunities to learn about HGSE master’s and doctoral programs, faculty, and the admissions process through panel discussions, presentations, and opportunities to connect with current students. The presentations also included practical information on financial aid, career services, self-care as a student, and strengthening applications.
