A Year of Growth

Having had a few days to recuperate from finals week, it’s starting to sink in that my time at HGSE is coming to an end. A few friends and I decided to read through our original personal statements, and it was amazing to see how far we have all come in the last nine months. I am so grateful for the people that HGSE has brought into my life and the opportunities that I have had here. I’m really going to miss Matt’s delicious sautee station, the hilarious Facebook posts on the day before an econ paper is due, and someday I may even look back fondly on our late nights in Lamont (though it is definitely too soon for that!). I wish next year’s class all the best, and hope that they find this experience as transformative as I have. And now, it’s on to the next hurdle – finding a job!

School Spirit Weekend!

This past weekend felt so quintessentially Harvard. Friday night a bunch of friends from my cohort and I went to the Harvard-Princeton Glee Club concert to support one of our fellow classmates, and it was amazing! The talent at this school is overwhelming. Saturday was the big Harvard-Princeton football game, but I decided to join in the Head of the Charles festivities instead. I know that I’m biased, but Boston really is one of the greatest cities ever – there’s never a dull moment! BUT I really should get back to studying now 🙂 Talk to you all soon!
